En este módulo se revisarán los mecanismos fisiopatológicos que participan en los trastornos gastrointestinales funcionales, con énfasis en la permeabilidad intestinal, la microbiota y el diagnóstico diferencial de los síntomas dispépticos.
Objetivos de aprendizaje del módulo:
- Comprender el papel de la barrera intestinal y la inflamación en el SII.
- Identificar las diferencias clínicas entre dispepsia funcional y gastroparesia.
- Mejorar los desenlaces clínicos en los pacientes con trastornos funcionales gastrointestinales.
